Tip! March 5, a course starts where you can learn the very basics of sketching. As you know, sketching helps you to communicate abstract ideas and transform them into tangible artifacts that can be further explored and validated, so take this opportunity to learn more about sketching.

Introducing new openSAP missions on SAP Community! Also, Sketching Basics for IT Business returns

Dear openSAP community,

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been working with the SAP Community Reputation team, and you can now complete a variety of openSAP missions to earn badges on SAP Community! Also, our popular course Be Visual! Sketching Basics for IT Business is returning to openSAP this March, for those of you who missed out on the previous versions.

Be Visual! Sketching Basics for IT Business (Edition Q1/2019)

Sketching helps you to communicate abstract ideas and transform them into tangible artifacts that can be further explored and validated. This course starts with the very basics of sketching. By applying the practice-oriented tips and tricks in this course, you’ll gain the confidence to present your ideas visually. The course starts March 5 and enrollment is now open!

openSAP missions on SAP Community

Before you can add your achievements to your completed missions on SAP Community, you’ll need to:

  • add your SAP Enterprise Login to your openSAP profile
  • opt-in to send your learning progress data to SAP Community
  • be an active member of SAP Community

The missions start with the basics:

  • Newbie – Enroll in one course

The next missions require you to successfully complete and earn a number of records of achievement at openSAP:

  • Novice – 1
  • Emerging Star – 2
  • Smart Fellow – 5
  • Enthusiast – 10
  • Veteran – 20

And finally, we’ve also included missions to reward our course architects and instructors!

  • Architect – a contributor to the content in an openSAP course
  • Instructor – an expert who appears on screen and shares their knowledge during an openSAP course

The SAP Community mission badges will be awarded each month, so please be patient after you update your profile preferences at openSAP. You can find more information on our SAP Community post.
